The Instagram follower signals worth tracking

LinkedRadar Instagram follower tracker should show more than a changing follower count. IG Tracker brings follower, following, media and profile changes into one organized view, so you can see what changed across each tracked account.

Track New Followers

Monitor newly detected followers and compare follower changes over time with an Instagram follower tracker built for ongoing account monitoring.

Track New Followings

See which accounts a tracked profile newly followed after a successful following comparison, without manually checking and comparing following lists.

Review Recent Unfollows

Identify accounts that a tracked profile stopped following and review following changes over time with an IG unfollow tracker.

Review Changes Over Time

Keep confirmed follower, following, media and profile events together, giving your IG Tracker a clear history of what changed on each tracked account.

Follow Recent Account Activity

Review new followings, unfollowed accounts, new media and profile changes in one chronological activity feed.

Manage Every Active Tracker

Pause, resume or stop any tracker from one workspace. Stopping a tracker immediately releases its active slot for another account.

Track Changes, Not Just Numbers

Instagram shows a profile's current following list, but it does not provide an account-by-account history of when that profile followed or unfollowed someone. Manual checks quickly become unreliable as the list grows.

IG Tracker compares the tracked profile's following state across successful checks. An account added to the later snapshot appears as a new following; one removed from it appears as an unfollowed account.

LinkedRadar keeps those confirmed events beside follower-count, following-count and media changes. Results should still be treated as change signals because usernames, disabled accounts and source availability can affect what is visible.

Use change data as context and review results before taking action.

A cleaner workflow

Manual Instagram Tracking vs. IG Tracker

Manual Instagram checks show you the current state. IG Tracker shows what changed, where it changed and how the account is evolving over time.

Use follower insights responsibly

Follower changes are context, not a verdict. Avoid aggressive follow/unfollow behavior, respect account privacy and Instagram policies, and use the tracker only for accounts and data you are authorized to review.

What Users Say About IG Tracker

IG Tracker is highly rated by users who want a faster and more complete way to monitor Instagram accounts.

I used to check follower and following lists manually and save screenshots just to compare changes later. IG Tracker gives me the changes directly, which saves a huge amount of time.
Daniel MorganSocial Media Manager
The biggest advantage is seeing what actually changed. I don't have to remember the previous follower count or compare old lists manually. The tracking history makes everything much easier to review.
Sophie BennettGrowth Marketer
I like that follower growth is not the only thing I can monitor. New followings, unfollows, new media and profile changes are all available in the same dashboard.

IG Tracker FAQ

What to know before using an Instagram follower and unfollower tracker.

What is an IG Tracker?

An IG Tracker compares public account snapshots over time. LinkedRadar shows follower, following and media count changes, plus confirmed new followings, unfollowed accounts, new media and profile updates when those scopes are available.

How does an Instagram follower tracker work?

A follower tracker compares account information across different checks. LinkedRadar checks profile and media data every 24 hours and following data every 72 hours, then displays confirmed changes in the account activity feed.

Can I see who unfollowed me on Instagram?

The current following scope shows who the tracked profile newly followed or stopped following. It also shows follower-count changes, but it does not name individual accounts that stopped following the tracked profile.

How many active trackers can I create?

Each LinkedRadar user can have up to five active trackers at once. Paused and private-account trackers still occupy a slot; stopping a tracker releases it.

How many credits does IG Tracker use?

A full first baseline costs 82 credits: 2 for profile, 72 for following and 8 for media. Very large accounts are limited to profile tracking and cost 2 credits. Scheduled comparisons charge the scopes that are due, and manual refreshes add the manual refresh fee shown by the service.

Is an Instagram unfollower tracker always exact?

No tracker should be treated as infallible. Username changes, temporarily disabled accounts, private-account access and platform availability can all affect what appears between checks.

Will Instagram notify someone when I check follower changes?

The tracker workflow is for reviewing follower-list changes in your browser. It does not send a message to the accounts shown in a comparison, but normal Instagram activity remains subject to Instagram behavior and policies.

Can I refresh a tracker immediately?

Yes. Use Refresh now on a tracked account to queue an immediate collection. Before confirmation, the dashboard shows the selected scope cost and explains that the manual refresh fee is added; after submission, it shows the exact deduction returned by the API.

What can an IG Tracker monitor?

LinkedRadar's IG Tracker monitors more than follower counts. Depending on the available data scope, you can track follower and following totals, new followers, new followings, unfollowed accounts, new media, profile changes and recent account activity.

Can I track Instagram following activity as well as followers?

Yes. LinkedRadar works as both an Instagram follower tracker and an Instagram following tracker. It can compare following data over time and identify confirmed new followings and accounts that the tracked profile stopped following when that data is available.

Who can benefit from an Instagram follower tracker?

An Instagram follower tracker can be useful for creators, influencers, personal brands, social media managers, marketers, growth teams and agencies. It helps reduce repetitive manual checks when you need to monitor account growth, audience changes, following activity or competitor activity over time.

Do I need to check an Instagram account every day manually?

No. LinkedRadar schedules profile and media checks every 24 hours and following checks every 72 hours. Instead of repeatedly opening the same Instagram profile and recording changes yourself, you can return to the tracker workspace to review confirmed changes.
